One day I was walking through Castlefield near the canal, and saw the infamous geese. I felt very tranquil. I looked around at the buildings and one of the Victorian mills was in a state of disrepair, it was old and crumbling.
Opposite was another old mill, which was being developed into offices and apartments. Nestled between them was Beetham Tower, which was a sharp contrast, with it being modern in design. The bridge is painted in red and cream to show Manchester industrial heritage.
